Lawn pathway leading to the retreat building at golden hour

The Stay

Seven rooms. One forest.

Ratapani Range Retreat holds only seven rooms, each shaped around the light, the trees and the silence that surround it. Book one, or take the whole estate.

Rooms & Cottages

Where you will sleep.

Every room is different because the land is different. Some open to lawns, some to the teak line, one to a stone hearth. All of them share the same view: untouched forest, in every direction.

Why Stay With Us

An estate that belongs to the forest.

Only Seven Rooms

Small by design. The estate never feels crowded, and the forest never feels watched.

On The Reserve Edge

Wildlife moves along the boundary at first and last light — often within sight of your room.

Whole-Estate Buyouts

Families and groups can reserve the entire retreat for complete exclusivity.

Home, Not Hotel

Built as an extension of our own home, with hospitality that is personal rather than procedural.

Alcohol is not served on the estate, though guests are welcome to bring their own. This is a remote forest location, so mobile connectivity can be limited. Please write to us for current details before you travel — bookings will only be direct and in advance. Safaris and jungle drives must be booked separately by guests directly with the local Madhya Pradesh Forest Department. Our homestay does not organise jeep safaris.
